He was speaking in 'meet the press' programme organised by the Andhra Pradesh Journalists Forum here.
The MP said a long-term development plan is needed for the parliamentary constituency and it has to be implemented without any politics.
He asserted that "dreams of Mahatma Gandhi have to be fulfilled through the vision document and the people have to drive the vision, not the politicians."
He apprised that the Tata Trust and the Andhra Pradesh government would sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 24 in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Tata Trust Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata, for a comprehensive development project to be undertaken by him (Srinivas) in coordination with the Trust, for the development of 264 villages and about ten lakh people residing there.
