Exams would be held from April 9 to April 19 at 119 centres across the country, Founder Vice-Chancellor of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), G Viswanathan, said.
Last year, about 1.94 lakh candidates appeared for entrance exams conducted for engineering courses offered by the deemed university.
He said that in 2014, about 3,100 students were selected under campus recruitment by various prestigious companies.
