Vodafone now offers voice and data services to around 50,000 people in the region, a company release said here today.
With this launch, Vodafone has expanded its footprint in 12 districts of the state.
It has so far deployed over 140 cell sites across the state and continues to expand its network, a press release informed.
Vodafone had recently expanded its network to Zero Point, Bomdila, Rupa, Tenga, Along, Basar and Daporijo in Arunachal Pradesh, and with this further expansion in Tawang Vodafone would now cover approximately 460 towns and villages and more than 31 percent of the population in the state, the release added.
