Vodafone offers 80% off on data, talktime on Oct 19 and 20

Vodafone India today launched a two day Diwali flash sale for Delhi and NCR pre-paid customers wherein they can have upto 80 per cent off on segments like Internet, SMS, voice, bonus card deals on October 19 and 20.
To avail the benefits of the sale, Vodafone pre-paid customers have to dial *121# on October 19 and 20 to know their best fit offer, the company said in a statement.
121 is an interactive product pitch service from Vodafone where a customer gets a range of segmented offers customised to his usage.
"As the entire region gets into festive mood, we hope to add to their joy through this exciting customer connect initiative and make this the festive season even more memorable for our subscribers," Vodafone India Business Head (Delhi) Subrat Padhi said.

Asus sells 2.8 lakh Zenfone units in Q3 * Asus today said it has reached the sales figure of 2.8 lakh Zenfone units for being sold in Q3. The company has also announced that additional 1 lakh units would be up for sale today with pan India availability.
Earlier this month, the company had announced the availability of 1 lakh units to add to the festivity which received tremendous response. Furthering to the same and in view of much higher demands, Asus has again bought 1 lakh units to the market today, the company said in a statement.
"With our aggressive approach and attainable aim to be amongst the top 10 smartphone providers this year and top 5 by 2015, we are constantly filling in the stocks. Within a fortnight, we have released stocks of 2 lakhs units now and the Indian masses continue to surprise us with the response," Asus India Regional Head (South Asia & Country Manager) System Business Group Peter Chang said.

New Zealand's avocado exporter Avanza enters India via tie-up * New Zealand's largest avocado exporter Avanza today announced entry in the Indian market through a tie-up with Mumbai based distributer Anusaya Fresh India.
Anusaya Fresh will sell the fruits to high-end retail chains, five-star hotels and restaurants, the company said in a statement.
Avanza has also roped in celebrity chef Kunal Kapoor as its brand ambassador, as it plans to engage with various stakeholders in the supply chain to popularise their premium Haas variety of avocados, it added.
CIn the next five years, Avanza will focus on growing demand, educating Indian consumers, distributors, chefs and retail chains about these nutritional benefits, the company said. Avanza will supply avocados in India from September to February.
