Vidarbha declared on their overnight score of 307 for 8, setting Gujarat a challenging 296 for the win on the fourth and final day today.
Captain Parthiv Patel put up a lone fight, scoring an unbeaten 73, but none of his team-mates gave him support, as Gujarat folded in 70 overs.
