Walnut weakens on subdued demand

In thin trading, prices of walnut fell by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today in view of subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on the walnut prices.
Walnut and its kernel prices were down by Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 200-380 and Rs 725-1,000 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks mainly pulled down walnut prices at the dryfruit market here.
