Jharodia was arrested by the Special Cell on August 26 after a brief encounter.
"On Monday, Jharodia told police about two crude bombs which he had acquired with the help of a prison inmate, Harcharan Singh, who was out on parole for around three days in March. Jharodia also disclosed about an associate, Deepak Bakkarwala, to whom Singh had handed over the bombs on Jharodia's instructions," said DCP (Special Cell) Rajiv Ranjan said today.
"A police team was rushed there and the crude bombs were recovered," said Ranjan.
However, the Special Cell haven't yet been able to track the arms dealer with whom Jharodia was negotiating regarding procurement of sophisticated weapons, which include AK 47, M 79 Grenade Launcher (Lathode Gun) and grenade bombs.
Jharodia had jumped parole in April 2015 and went back into extortion to raise funds for buying such sophisticated weapons, Ranjan added.
