Rizwan, 28, a resident of Noor Nagar area here, was adept at imitation and kept on changing his looks and attire, he said adding that Uttar Pradesh Police had also announced a reward of Rs 5,000 for his arrest.
"Acting on a tip-off that Rizwan was coming towards Chhajju gate on April 18, police laid a trap and arrested him. He was a member of a UP-based gang, which used to rob petrol pumps," he said.
After committing robberies in Uttar Pradesh, the gang members used to stay at different parts in New Delhi, he said.
