Ward member found dead
Panchayat was found dead today near a bridge under Nehra police outpost in Bihar's Darbhanga district, a police officer said.
The blood-stained body of 42 year-old Umesh Paswan, a native of Gaina village, was found lying near Godarhat bridge a day after he had gone missing, Nehra police outpost Inspector Ranjan Kumar said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, he said, adding a probe was on to find out motive behind the death of ward member under mysterious circumstances.
