The second capital of Maharashtra, Nagpur, which had 43.1 degrees Celsius yesterday, today recorded a little higher temperature at 43.3.
But the day in Nagpur ended with strong breeze and drizzle in late afternoon, providing some relief to the people from sweltering heat.
Bramhapuri, a town in Chandrapur district, recorded second highest temperature in the region at 44.2 degrees Celsius.
Following are the temperatures of important places in the region: Akola-43. Degree Celsius, Amravati-43.6, Buldana- 40.4, Chandrapur- 43.2, Gondia- 41.3, Washim-40.4 and Yavatmal 42.
