Warm Sunday morning in Delhi, max temp expected to touch 40 C

It was a warm Sunday morning in the national capital today with the maximum temperature expected to touch 40 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature was recorded four degrees above normal for the season at 27.6 degrees Celsius, said a MeT department official.

"Partly cloudy skies in later half of the day are forecast. The maximum temperature will hover around 40 degrees Celsius," he said.

The relative humidity was 66 per cent at 8.30 AM.

Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.4 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature settled at 39.6 degrees Celsius.
