Wave Infratech awards Rs 200-cr construction contract to L&T

Wave Group's realty firm Wave Infratech has awarded a contract worth about Rs 200 crore to L&T for construction of its luxury housing project at Noida.
The project is spread over 1.62 acres and is part of its 'Wave City Center' township.
Wave Infratech Executive Director Amar Sinha said that construction of its housing project 'Eminence' has been awarded to L&T. The construction work would start shortly and it would be completed in 42 months.
Sources said the contract to L&T is worth about Rs 200 crore.
Wave Infratech is developing the township spread over 152 acres, which the company had bagged through an auction for about Rs 6,500 crore. However, the total developable area of the township is 40 million sq ft and will be developed in phases.

The company is developing other realty projects in Noida, Ghaziabad and Mohali. Besides real estate, Wave Group is engaged in sugar, liquor and entertainment businesses.
