Composer duo Sachin Jigar say they constantly keep having disagreements while working together, sometimes even fighting to the "fullest" over certain songs.
Before composing for films like "Badlapur", "ABCD" and "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya", Sachin-Jigar assisted music composer Pritam in many of his films.
When asked if they have disagreements over their work, Sachin told PTI, "We have heated arguments all the time. In fact (there are) days of not talking and working together. But one stays with the last version and grows above one's own opinion if the other's idea is working better. Eventually everything is for the song."
To which, Jigar said that the duo always have fights to the "fullest" but still remain like a family.
"We always have arguments and we have it to the fullest. But it's after all for the song, and I think creative arguments and fights only help us making songs that we are proud of. We are family now , so with or without music Sachin will always be followed by Jigar," he said.
The duo will be seen performing on season six of Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged.
Sachin says it is a liberating experience to go back and re-arrange their own song in a new style sans any limitation.
"It is absolutely liberating because there is no director producer or script to adhere to. There is a song that has found its due love already. And while arranging the OST you have given it your all.
"So to go back and change the expression or the style is so cool. It helps us get a new perspective every single time."
On the show, Jigar's wife Priya has also performed a song and the composer says she has been a part of the team since their first film and has written "half the songs we perform."
"Her talent as an artist is yet to be explored. So it's like a team now. All our (Sachin Jigar) decisions are very mutual between me and Sachin. But having said that, Priya is my wife and Sachin's friend, we make sure that she's there because her contribution adds to the performance, but there is no relationship at work."
On the film front, Sachin-Jigar will score music for Parineeti Chopra starrer "Meri Pyaari Bindu".
