Weapon snatching bid foiled in Shopian

Alert cops tonight foiled a weapon snatching bid by militants at a police post guarding the minority community in Shopian district of south Kashmir, a police official said.
No one was injured in the incident, the official said. The militants fled after the guards raised an alarm.
"Alert police guards foiled weapon snatching bid at Panzer in Shopian by repelling a terrorist attack this evening," the official said.
