Cooch Behar received 59.2 mm rainfall, the state's highest in 24 hours from yesterday morning, the Met department said.
Neighbouring Jalpaiguri followed closely at 56.5 mm precipitation, while Darjeeling received 34.6 mm rainfall during the same period.
In the southern districts, Asansol received 26.2 mm rain, while the sea beach town of Puri received 27.3 mm rain, the Met department said.
Other places in the south experienced little or no rainfall during the period.
The southern districts of the state are likely to have a cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.
