The bird perched on a tree was noticed by some residents in Telungupalayam. They managed to catch it and hand it over to the zoo this evening, officials said.
White crow is among the rare species and the change in colour is attributed to gene problem, sources in the zoo said.
A white-coloured crow was found in Thiruvananthapuram a couple of years ago.
