Union Minister for Food Processing Industry Harsimrat Kaur Badal today said that she will campaign for Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) candidates for Haryana Assembly polls, if her party asks her to do so.
"I have not decided anything yet. If my party Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) asks me to campaign for the Om Prakash Chautala led INLD, I will do so," Harsimrat said on sidelines of the 'Pensioners Samman Samaroh' here organised by Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
While SAD has an alliance with BJP at the Centre and in Punjab, the party is supporting INLD in Haryana.
Harsimrat also praised the Narendra Modi government for the recent amendment of the Employees' Pension Scheme 1995 to provide a minimum monthly pension of Rs 1,000 to beneficiaries under the scheme which is expected to benefit around 32 lakh pensioners across the country for 2014-15.
