"Of course, me and Shoojit are working together. We have been discussing a lot of stuff and soon will team again. As far as 'Abra Ka Dabra' is concerned till the time Shoojit is not happy with the script the film will not go on floors," Ayushmann told PTI.
The actor, whose last outing "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" under Yash Raj Films was a sleeper hit, has also signed another project with the banner.
"I think playing relatable character always works, it's good to have such roles. I come from a theatre background and theatre connects with audience. It was the similar case with 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha.' It deals with the chemistry between two completely opposite people. The film was based in '90s, yet it had a progressive outlook," he said on the sidelines of Jagran film festival here. He was here to attend the screening of the movie.
"My book is all about real life incidents which I experienced. It is not about my success or failure, it's about my journey to Bollywood not journey in Bollywood. It is just the beginning," the actor said.
Ayushmann believes the nature of struggle has changed in the industry as even big studios are willing to take a chance with newcomers.
