The former "That '70s Show" star split from Demi Lovato, his girlfriend of six years, in June and although new "NCIS" castmate Wilmer is currently happy to focus on his busy career schedule, he is keen to one day become a father, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"I definitely think that it's in the future, for sure," the 36-year-old said, confessing he is "behind" on his family plans.
"I mean, right now I'm so incredibly blessed and focused to have such a road professionally... I couldn't be happier where I am."
he has only good things to say about his ex.
"Honestly, I only wish nothing but the most incredible things for her," he smiled.
Demi also appears to have fully moved on from the failed romance - she was spotted getting close to rocker John Mayer.
