Windows of van broken; Articles worth Rs 1.5 lakh looted

The windows of a tourist van, parked at the nearby temple parking area, were broken and articles worth Rs 1.5 lakh stolen from the vehicle today, police said.
Police said Rs.50000 in cash and mobile phones were among the stolen articles from the van which had North Indian registration.
Police said they were enquiring as to how the windows had been broken despite the parking spot being provided security.
