Total stake money being offered this Season is approximately Rs 14 Crore, RCTL sources said here today.
A total of 618 horses and 198 two year olds will be in training under 20 trainers.
Sixty two Jockeys and thirteen apprentice Jockey have been licensed to ride during the Season.
The season's plum, The Calcutta Derby is scheduled to be run on January 12.
For patrons throughout the year for both Calcutta live racing and ISBO days a permanent all weather TV screen has been installed opposite the Grand stands alsong side the other display boards.
