RPCC spokesperson Archna Sharma and Kusum Saiwal of Bharatiya Janwadi Mahila Samiti alleged that the women and senior citizens were deprived of concessions of 30 per cent of their fair in roadways buses going out of the state, extended by the previous Congress government last year.
"It was unfortunate that the concessions were curtailed to these passengers," the duo said.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of Rajasthan Road Transport Corporation (RTDC) said the concession of 30 per cent given to women and senior citizens was stopped since yesterday only in the buses going out of Rajasthan state. Spokesman denied to comment on the reason of this sudden order.
