Woman, 2 daughters drown in water tank in Raj

A 38-year-old woman and her two minor daughters died after they accidently slipped into a water tank in the district today, police said.

The incident occurred in the Khajuwala area where the woman was fetching water from the tank and she fell into it, they said.

Her daughters, Pooja (12) and Badhu (7), also fell into the tank in a bid to save her, police said.

The bodies were handed over to the family after post-mortem, they added.
