Woman, 2 minor daughters commit suicide

Apparently depressed over mounting debts, a 36-year-old woman and her two minor daughters allegedly committed suicide in their house here today, police said.
Oyammai, whose husband Tamilarasan, a CRPF constable, went missing on August 21, 2012, was living alone with her daughters, aged nine and 12, police said.
Neighbours found the woman hanging in the kitchen and her children in the hall this morning when they peeped through the windows after they noticed the door shut long after break of dawn.
Based on initial investigation, it was suspected the three would have ended their lives due to financial problems, they said.
