Woman accuses men of barging in house, attempting rape

A woman has accused five persons of barging in her house in the Kotwali Sakeet area when she was alone and allegedly trying to rape her, police officials said.
According to the officials, based on the woman's complaint an FIR has been lodged under section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and further investigation is in progress.
According to the FIR, the woman has alleged that last week five persons entered her house and eve-teased her.
The woman has alleged that the men wanted to rape her but she shrieked and her family members reached the spot. The accused fled, she claimed in her complaint, according to police officials.

We are investigating the matter, no arrest has been made so far in this connection, the officials said.
