The woman is battling for her life at Safdarjung Hospital here. The school owner's wife and mother also sustained burn injuries when they came to the womam's rescue.
The incident took place last evening when the woman, who lives with her family in Amar Colony and worked for a private school in northwest Delhi's Maujpur, went to the school owner's house on her scooter with a jar of kerosene with which she doused herself, a police official said.
During investigation, it emerged that the school owner was close to the woman and his wife had objection to it.
He compelled the woman to leave her job but he kept paying her monthly salary. When his wife became aware of it, he stopped that too, the official said, adding the school owner is likely to be booked in a case of harassment.
