The victim has filed a complaint yesterday accusing Satyanarayan Yadav (52) of raping and beating her on June 19 around 10 pm at her house when she was alone and her father and brother were away, police said.
She used to talk on mobile with the accused who stays in same neighborhood, they said.
An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC and the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Act with Mahila Thana (East), they said.
The case was transferred to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP)-SC/ST cell for investigation, they said.
