Woman burnt to death by in-laws over dowry

A 22-year-old woman was allegedly burnt to death by her husband and in-laws for dowry at Badaut area in the district, police said today.
Kamini was set ablaze by her husband Tej Singh, brother-in-laws Dharm Singh, Dhyan Singh and one more persons for dowry in Saraura village on Monday, In charge of Badaut police station Sunil Kumar Sharma said.
Last night in his complaint, the victim's father Ajeetpal also alleged that the deceased was hurriedly cremated, Sharma said.
An FIR has been lodged and efforts were on to nab the accused, police added.
