The incident happened at around 2.45 PM when Nirmala lost her balance while trying to get down from the vehicle as it moved before her both feet could land on the ground, police said.
"She fell down and came under the wheels of the vehicle," said Vikramjeet Singh, DCP(outer).
The driver didn't see whether the woman had de-boarded and started the vehicle without realising that the woman's foot had stuck, the officer said.
