Woman dies under mysterious circumstances in west Delhi

A 25-year-old woman died under mysterious circumstances after allegedly falling from the balcony of her house in west Delhi's Nihal Vihar area, police said today with her family members accusing her in-laws of killing her for dowry.
The woman, identified as Lakshmi, yesterday died after falling from the balcony of her residence.
She got married to Gautam, a driver, about four-and-a-half years ago.
"An inquiry into the death has been initiated by the SDM concerned, who will record statements of her family members. Further probe will take place after the report is submitted by the SDM," said DCP(west) Pushpendra Kumar.

The family members of Lakshmi have alleged that her in-laws killed her for dowry, however, SDM's report will is awaited for further action, the officer said.
