Woman falls to death from lift at under-construction mall

A 45-year-old woman fell to death from a lift at an under-construction mall in Kasna area here, police said.
The incident took place yesterday evening and the woman was rushed to Sharda Hospital where she died during treatment.
Today, her relatives staged a protest at the mall and demanded compensation. The woman's husband had died in 2007. She has three children, they said.
Her relatives demanded compensation from the mall management. They also demanded registration of a death due to negligence case against the contractor and the mall management.
