The incident was reported around 8.30 AM when the in-laws' of the deceased, identified as Rekha, found her body hanging from a ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms. Rekha allegedly used a stole to hang herself, said a senior police official.
It is suspected to be a case of dowry harassment. However, no suicide note has been recovered from near the body of the deceased, said the official.
Rekha got married around two-and-a-half years back and doesn't have any children. Her parents, who are natives of a village in UP, have been informed and the body shall be sent for post-mortem examination once they arrive, the official added.
