Woman killed, 3 injured in clash in UP

A 48-year-old woman was killed and three others were injured in firing during a clash between two groups in Hajipur village here, police said today.
Nasreen's son Kallu had an argument with their neighbour Salman over parking of their vehicle which led to a brawl, a police spokesperson said.
The woman was returning after lodging a complaint with the police about the incident when again an argument broke out between the two sides, which soon turned violent, he said.
During the fight, Salman allegedly opened fire in which Nasreen got injured, he said, adding that she was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries, the spokesman said.

Kallu, his brother and another person were also injured in the incident, he said.
A case has been registered in this connection, he said, adding that efforts were on to nab Salman, who is on the run.
Police force has been deployed in the village to prevent any untoward incident, the spokesperson added.
