The crime happened yesterday at Kaidi village under Karoli police station in the district.
Arun Kumar of Kaidi village district murdered his wife as she had objected to his relationship with the girl.
SP rural Ajay Sahdev said "A case has been registered against Arun Kumar and now he is in custody after a complaint filed by the father of the deceased".
The complaint filed against Kumar and his family members alleged that she was murdered as Kumar wanted to marry another woman.
