Woman, paramour killed by sons in Kanpur

A woman and her paramour were allegedly killed by her sons in Kalyanpur village here after they disapproved of their mother's affair with the man, police said today.
SSP Shabhal Mathura today said that the duo Imran and Kamran choked their 48-year-old mother Rabina Begum to death on December 26.
The accused claim that they caught their mother and 22-year-old Ranjit in a compromising position in her room on the same day.
After committing the crime, they stuffed the body in a gunny bags and threw it in a river, Mathur said.
On December 31, the two called Ranjit and choked him to death following which they threw the body on the outskirts of the town on Bidoor road.

The bodies were recovered and the police have arrested brothers, he said, adding that a case has been registered against them.
