Woman producer dies after falling from high-rise

A woman producer working with a TV channel died in suspicious circumstances after falling from the eighth floor of an apartment complex in Vaishali area of the district.
Milita Dutt Mandal reached her home in Mahagun Society apartment at around 11 pm last night and, later, she fell from her house after about 40 minutes.
Her husband, Surya Jyoti Mandal, took Milita to a private hospital in Patpar Ganj in East Delhi where doctors declared her brought dead
Later, Delhi Police informed about the incident to Indirapuram Police, as the death took place in their jurisdiction.
"Post mortem examination is being conducted by Delhi Police at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital," Senior Superintendent of Police of Ghaziabad, Dharmendra Yadav said.

The police is yet to ascertain the cause of the death, whether she was thrown from the 8th floor or she committed suicide by jumping.
The husband and wife had a scuffle on the same night, they said.
Milita got married to Surya Jyoti in 2009 and they have a three-year-old daughter.
