Woman raped by father-in-law in UP

A woman has alleged that she was raped by her father-in-law following which she became pregnant here, police said today.
The woman, who is seven months pregnant, yesterday sought permission from the District Magistrate for abortion at Chapar village in the district, they said.
District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma has ordered an inquiry and referred the case to the chief medical officer for taking necessary steps.
No case has been registered in this connection, police said.
The woman has alleged that she was raped and threatened by her father-in-law in July 2013, they said.
Meanwhile, the woman's father-in-law has denied the allegation and said that he has been falsely implicated by her due to a property dispute.
