Woman raped by youth

A young woman was allegedly
abducted and raped by a youth here, following which the accused was arrested today, police said.
According to the complaint filed by the victim in Daraula police station, the accused identified as Arun, a resident of Rali Chauhan area, had kidnapped her two days ago from Samoli Salempur village, after which he took her to an unidentified place and raped her, police said.
The accused Arun was arrested today after an FIR was registered against him, police said, adding, the victim, in her early twenties, has been sent for medical examination.
According to preliminary investigations, the victim belongs to Dalit community while the accused belongs to a backward caste, police said, adding that the two had allegedly been in a relationship for the past two years.
