"Passengers informed the railway staff about the body after the train stopped at the station," Dankaur police station in-charge, Farmood Ali Pundir said.
The identity of the woman has not been ascertained yet, he said, adding she appears to be over 50 years old.
The body has been sent for post mortem, police added.
