Woman student of IIIT commits suicide

A woman student allegedly committed suicide Saturday by jumping off the second floor of a building at IIIT at Basar near Nizamabad in Telangana, police said.

The deceased was a student of PUC (equivalent to 12th standard) at IIIT at Basar (International Institute of Information Technology), they said.

The IIIT was set up at Basar by the erstwhile government of Andhra Pradesh.

A suicide note purportedly written by the deceased was found, police added.
