Woman succumbs to bullet injuries in UP

A 30-year-old woman who was shot at 15 days ago succumbed to her injuries in a hospital at Taharpur Bhabisa village in Shamli district, police said today.
The victim, identified as Kaushalya, was shot at 15 days ago by an unidentified youth when she was in her house at the village, police said, adding, she was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition where died yesterday.
It is yet to be ascertained why she was shot at and the youth involved is absconding. Further investigation is on, they said.
