The West Bengal CID today busted a women trafficking racket and rescued six minor girls from a guest house in Salt Lake area here, a senior official said.
Six persons were arrested for their alleged involvement with the racket, which was busted from a guest house in Sector 2 in the Salt Lake area in Bidhannagar East police station limits, he said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of CID sleuths conducted a raid at the said guest house and got hold of the people running the illegal trade, the officer added.
"Six accused including the manager-cum-pimp of the guest house, one female trafficker, one male trafficker and three other pimps have been arrested," the officer said.
