"Under any circumstances, the Chief Minister has to remove Aney from his post because he has indulged in treason. Unless he is ousted, the Sena won't let the House function. We have also decided that we will not be a part of any cabinet meetings (till then)," senior Sena leader and environment minister Ramdas Kadam said.
Kadam claimed that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had assured him that a decision on Aney will be taken by tomorrow morning.
Aney, at an event in Jalna district yesterday, said Marathwada had suffered more injustice than Vidarbha and should therefore be a separate state. His statement led to an uproar in the Maharashtra legislature today.
