The couple, who got engaged last year but declined to ever officially confirm the news, was spotted wearing matching rings on their wedding fingers as they arrived at LAX together just weeks after they picked up their marriage licence, reported Dailymail Online.
"Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell were married on October 30 in California. The bride wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera," her representative said in a statement.
"Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling. Overwhelming," Wood, 25, posted on Twitter.
The couple have reportedly jetted off on a secret honeymoon after their marriage.
The "Mildred Pierce" actress first started dating the "Billy Elliot" star in 2005 after they met on the set of Green Day's music video for 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' and got matching tattoos but split a year later.
They rekindled their romance in 2010 after Wood ended her seven-month engagement to rocker Marilyn Manson.
