Work out transparent tendering process: Sukhbir to chief secy

The Punjab government today emphasised on a transparent tendering process so that quality and timeline of projects are not compromised.
In a meeting to review the progress of infrastructure projects, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal asked Chief Secretary Rakesh Singh to work out a transparent e-tendering process, including pre-bidding.
We will not allow fly by night infrastructure operators to derail ambitious projects, he said.
Focusing on maintaining strict quality control, Badal asked Singh to ensure third party audit of infrastructure projects.
Emphasising on proper maintenance, he asked Singh to ensure annual maintenance contract of all infrastructure projects.
