45-year-old Vrindavan, a construction worker, was working on the particular floor of the building yesterday evening when he lost balance and hit the ground, police said.
The wife of the deceased, Kunwar Bai, has accused contractor Asif for not taking sufficient measures and ensuring protection to the workers during the construction works, police said.
Police have registered a case at Police Station NIT Faridabad under section 304A of IPC.
Investigating Officer Vijay Pal said that Asif was arrested and produced in court today after which he has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.
