The incident occurred last afternoon when Umravati Yadav was sweeping the floor at SN Synthetic, located in Boisar MIDC in the district.
Boisar police booked Jayantilal Gala, owner of the company, and the Manager for negligence.
Police said that Yadav's saree got stuck in the machine, following which she was sucked in and her head banged on the roller several times, resulting into her death.
