Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar says he is sad that his reality TV show "I Can Do That" is nearing an end but hopes to come back around with a season two.
The 41-year-old "Dil Dhadakne Do" star is hosting the show where the participants are challenged to showcase their skills through various tasks.
"There is sadness when anything ends but that's how the format was and you have to be mentally prepared for it. I believe the show is doing well, so I am assuming there would be a season two coming around. We will see how it goes. I would like it to happen," Farhan said in an interview.
The "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" actor said he was not apprehensive to take on the role of an anchor for the reality show, which is based on an American show of the same name.
"I was not really nervous. The makers had sent me episodes of the show from various countries and I had really liked the format. It gave me a very positive vibe... The show just excited me."
Farhan is happy with his experience as a host and found it inspiring.
"It's been a lot of fun. The format was very exciting. I found the show very inspiring and motivating. It makes you realise human potential. If the contestants can learn something in 7 days and do it then why can't we. I've had a great time."
The four finalists are actors Gauhar Khan, Gurmeet Choudhary, Rithvik Dhanjani and Madhurima Tuli.
According to Farhan, there were no ego issues between any of the contestants as they were competing with themselves and not others.
"Everyone here is not really competing with each other. They are competing with themselves. That's the big difference. At the end of the day, they look for their own performances and want to do better than what they did earlier."
The finale of "I Can Do That" will air on November 22, 7 PM on Zee TV.
