XOLO launches smartphones under 'Omega' starting Rs 8,999

Smartphone maker XOLO today announced the launch of two handsets under the Omega range, priced Rs 8,999 onwards.
The handsets -- Omega 5.0 and Omega 5.5 -- will be powered by 1.4 GHz octacore processor, 1GB RAM and XOLO's proprietary HIVE platform.
Omega 5.5, priced at Rs 9,999, comes with 5.5-inch display, 13MP rear and 2MP front camera, 2,600 mAh battery and will be available from December 20.

Blue Coat Systems apppoints Michael Fey as President, COO * US-based network security firm Blue Coat Systems has appointed Michael Fey as President and Chief Operating Officer.
Fey will replace David Murphy, who will continue as a strategic advisor to the board, the company said in a statement.
Prior to joining Blue Coat Systems, Fey was executive vice president and general manager of corporate products at McAfee and Chief Technology Officer of Intel Security.
