"We had organised special meetings at taluka level in the district and informed the farmers about the objectives of the agitation," said organiser of the 'Zilla Shetkari Nyaya Hak Andolan Samiti' Devanand Pawar here today.
The state government is insensitive to the long drawn agrarian crisis faced by the farming community across the state, said Pawar.
"On Monday, we will block the traffic movement at the local bus stand square and hundreds of farmers will join the chakka jam (road block) on national and state highways to express our resentment against the state government for its anti farmers policy," he said.
